I grew up in Tariki and have family connections throughout Taranaki. Having conducted ceremonies elsewhere in New Zealand, I have come home ready to work for and support my community.
As an independent registered celebrant, I have officiated at funeral services, memorials, marriages, and life celebrations. My background includes working in multicultural and gender-focused situations where I gained an appreciation of the rich diversity within our communities. I am familiar with life and death in town and rural situations, the nature of loss, and the different ways in which we react to and manage our sorrow and grieving.
I will listen to your needs and wishes and will create a service that celebrates your loved one’s life, acknowledges your loss, and wraps support around you, your family and friends. I will communicate with you through face to face meetings, email, and phone calls to ensure you are happy with the service. Afterwards you will receive a full transcript of my parts of the service to keep. My fee is $400. Travel costs are additional and negotiable.
