As I sit here in Melbourne, I am taking a quiet moment to remember a truly remarkable woman. I remember her so vividly from my childhood days as a person of strength, integrity, moral clarity and a wonderful sense of humour - a great mother, an important contributor to her community and great friend to our family. I was so sorry to hear Cynthia had passed away and my thoughts are with her family and friends. Her memory lives on in me, and I have no doubt in the many others who knew and loved her.
