To the Trott Family
I was deeply saddened to hear of Rod's passing, taken far too early. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
My association with Rod was over the past 10 years as an Agricultural Flight Operations Inspector/Senior Technical Specialist with the Civil Aviation Authority. I enjoyed working with Rod and the many conversations we had. He was dedicated, had a great sense of humour and greatly contributed to the aviation industry and flight safety.
He will be sadly missed but not forgotten.

So sorry to hear we have lost Rod. I always appreciated his presence, and the work he had put into our 59ers Reunions. We had a great dance together at the Wangamomona Pub, finishing touch to a wonderful weekend. Little did I think it would be the last time we would see him, he was so full of life. My thoughts are with you all.Marion Rainforth ( 15 Jun 2020 )
Farewell my good friend from so many years back . So many great memories especially of all the "get-togethers" we've held over the years. You did a lot of work to make these such memorable occassions, and you'll be sorely missed. The last trip to Whanga was especially memorable fun, and I know you put so much work into the plan. Coming back to Stratford somehow won't be the same without your big smile and wonderful sense of humour. Always missed, but never forgotten.

It was our pleasure to meet and host Rod during our time at the Whangamomona Hotel. He and a group of old friends spent a memorable night in the hotel last year as part of a reunion. Our thoughts are with his family.Richard and Vicki Pratt ( 13 Jun 2020 )

Very sorry to hear of Rod's passing. Everytime that I returned home from Sydney to visit my Stratford family we would catch up and have a great long chat to bring each other back up to date. With the passing of my mother sadly those trips have declined over the past few years. RIP. (Member of the 59er's club).John Major ( 12 Jun 2020 )
