as much as it is hurting my heart that you arent with us in person it is a huge comfort knowing that you have been reunited with Poppa ❤
I will always remember staying weekends with you. My sister and i hiding in the back seat laughing and embarrassed in the car as you drove 30km around the streets of stratford with cars tooting their horns because we were going to slow for their liking.
Running around the house trying to find eachother when we were scared from the massive thunder storm happening outside.
I am glad you got to meet my children.. Landen just adored his Old Nana.
We miss you Nana.
Love you heaps!
Some of my dearest memories are of those shared with you. I always felt a special connection with both Grandad & yourself.
I have a memory of a day at the park. Possibly near Egmont Village. We were feeding the ducks & swans. Somehow the bread bag entred the water. I swear the bag isn't in my hands, it was my sisters. Anyhow off came the shoes & socks and in you went after it.
I miss the smell of Raro in your fridge - this smell reminds me off you in a second. It was always in the fridge and the biscuit tin full. I miss fried potatoes done in your old electric frying pan. They were the best! Funny the things that bring back the memories. I miss holidays spent with you & our phone calls later in life. I wish I made them more often. I also wish my girls had the opportunity too meet you. You would have been proud. We always talk about Old Nana & will continue too do so.
As much as we will all miss you, I smile knowing you are back with Grandad.
All my Love, Jenna xx
Please read as is.
\Nana would tell me off for saying this but in the words of grandad, the covid 19 is a fucking bastard.
