Helen, Peter, Chris, Robyn and families. John passed on some wonderful kernel of rugby and other knowledge to me in my youth, and in the few times I saw him since then. He always treated me and everyone with respect and friendliness. Please accept our deepest sympathies. Thinking of you all. Bruce and Simone Kuklinski (Victoria BC, Canada)

Dear Helen and Family.

Please accept the sincere condolences of the Hall family at this sad time. Our family connections and shared respect didn't start with rugby, which of course was John's second passion, but his values. From hard times and floods on the farm and how communities assisted each other when the chips were down. John was the epitome of fairness and that everyone is equal. He built teams with these values and passed it on. Thinking of you all.
