Dear Marie, Melanie, Rachel, Jacquline, Vanessa and Adam and all of your families.
John was one of a kind, a proud husband, father and grandfather. Just this time last year I visited you and John, he was so happy and contented in your knew house and proudly showed me round the garden and all the improvements he had made. I have many good memories of your time in Brockville, Little Sisters and the parish. As my Claire said to me yesterday when i was talking to her 'he was such a lovely man'
Sorry I can't be with you, will be thinking of you all, much love and prayers Marianne, Kylie and Claire

John--not the best player in the Kaikorai squash club but definately the most competitive--stroppy and pugnacious-in the game to the end--and after it,only to pleased to shake hands and share a drink and a laugh.
Wicked sense of humour, generous and everyones mate.
A valued member of an era of squash that brought many of us of all grades and personalities together as a social group that i know we all still cherish regardless of the time passed-- Condolences Marie and family.
It was our pleasure John- Thanks for the memories

My sympathy to Marie & Family. Many memories of the Kaikorai Squash Club and John & Marie Baker. John was an active & reliable member & part of that group of sociable players. John was so proud of his family and I know you will all miss him.
So sorry to hear of Johns passing. Will miss our long chats over the fence always proud of his garden and all his adition to the house and we would offen have a beer or wine at home or the club.We were surprised at how fast he went down hill one minute he was weeding the garden and next hes layed up.He got me over to show me his coffin he was so proud of it with all his comforts he had added. He will be greatly missed from Us Next Door
thinking of you all at this sad time. Please except our deepest sympathy.
