“Mrs Cooke with an e” was the teacher who had the most influence on me, I think. I loved her sense of humour (I actually didn’t get in trouble that day she caught me using a broken felt tip pen as a pea shooter in her class). Her love of craft and music and the theatre was truly inspiring and has impacted on me to this day. I have fond memories of Ars Nova Choir workshops and craft groups with her Even now. (Ah, so long ago now... although it doesn’t feel it). She was the best typing teacher and that has also been a very handy skill to have.
My thoughts and prayers go with the family. I hope you find some memories that give you peace and laughter in this time.
