A wise man once told me: “We owe it to the community to use our skills for the benefit of others.”
That’s why I have chosen to be a funeral celebrant. I want to help you in your time of loss by delivering a personalised funeral ceremony of love and beauty, humility and humour (if fitting).
As a long-time journalist, storyteller, public speaker, radio host and spoken-word poet, it is my great privilege to offer creative funerals that aptly reflect the person whose life is being remembered.
My aim is to deliver a beautiful ceremony for you, with you and, as much as possible, by you.
I am extremely receptive to people’s spiritual and cultural needs.
My job is to listen, listen, listen, then work with you to create a farewell to reflect your wishes, values, requests and beliefs. Always.
