As more and more families are choosing to have Eagars support them when someone dies, our business is growing.  We are looking for someone exceptional to be our director of first impressions when families first arrive at our funeral home.  This is a very important role so naturally we will have high expectations for the right person.

The role is challenging and varied. Our business can go from slow to frantic very quickly so being able to manage your time is crucial.  There will be times where you may be the only person on site so you must have the ability to work autonomously.

We use a range of software tools so a degree of comfort and/or familiarity with the likes of Xero, Microsoft Office and Photoshop will certainly help.

Families of all backgrounds use our services.  Cultural, Ethnic and religious awareness and understanding is very important to us so we expect you to treat everyone with dignity and respect.  Besides - it's the right thing to do regardless.

Detail, detail, detail.  Creating a beautiful funeral requires attention to detail and it's our attention to detail that sets us apart.  Whether it's how we dress, ensuring names are spelled correctly or keeping art on the wall straight, we strive to deliver on the detail with every family we serve.  Please bear this in mind as you write your introductory letter and format your CV.

This role will give you the opportunity to flex your creative muscles.  We produce all our stationey such as funeral service sheets on site and take pride in wowing families with what we deliver.  Creating these is part of this role so in addition to the attention to detail mentioned above, you will have an eye for creating beautiful things.

Remuneration is negotiable for the right person but we see this role being in the range of $40,000 - $55,000 per annum.

We are also open to job sharing.  This role may be perfect for two part time positions for the right people.
